Welcome to AVSS

“Adivasi Vikas Evam Sewa Samiti” (AVSS) is one of the leading Non Government, Non Profit Organization, established in 1988 and registered under the Society Registration Act 1958 and Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) 1976 with the Ministry of Home Affairs, engaged in the service to provide quality life with dignity for the tribal and marginalized section of the society in Rajasthan through optimum utilization of available resources for their overall and sustainable development. The organization is having very deep experience of Awareness Generation and Community Mobilization. The organization is working on the grassroots level for more then 35 years and having experience of working with the tribal community; the organization is having a very good rapport in the field.

 

PROGRAMS

HUMAN RIGHTS

Organization made people aware about government schemes and their rights in 11 panchayats of southern part of Udaipur district in Rajasthan, which benefited around 650 people under human rights.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

This year 350 women have been made aware by our volunteers against their rights and exploitation. Women have now joined various schemes and are taking part in them.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

The organization have enhanced the leadership capacity of men as well as women. Today women have the ability to take leadership for their family and society and are trying to remove the backwardness of the society.

EDUCATION

Efforts are being made by the organization from time to time to make children aware of their rights by removing fear and hesitation so that the children know their rights and till the age they grow up.

HEALTH

To create awareness about health among the people and has organized health camps from time to time, so that people remain aware about their own and children's health.

WATERSHED MANAGEMENT

Under the protection of natural resources and agricultural development, the organization carried out works like soil management, construction of small check dams, plantation, promotion of organic farming, making farmers aware on improved farming etc.
